Al Jabal Resort, Khorfakkan
Lulie Fisher Design Studio has been appointed by Shurooq as Interior Designer for the Al Jabal Retreat - a resort comprising one and two bedroom timber cabins, a club house, two specialty restaurants, an ADD, Spa and Beach Shack cafe. The buildings are perched on the steep and rocky Hajar mountain range and nestled into a private cove which tumbles down to the beach. The design language reflects the sense of place drawing inspiration from the colour platette of the geology, the indigenous flora an the sea. The cabins are manufactured in Scandanavia and the timber cladding has been left largely exposed and celebrated.
