The Surrealist cinematic genre provides a rich source of inspiration for the iconic design of our new hotel in Dubai that is to be rooted in its neighbourhood and to be bold and open, outspoken and fun. The interiors are redolent of a Luis Bunuel film and a Salvador Dali art installation. A myriad of mirrored surfaces at oblique angles, distorted patterns, walk in kaleidoscopes, ladders leading to no-where, projected images inspired by the art of Rene Magritte and Giorgio de Chirico and inverted imagery inspired by the camera obscura await the guest.
