Radisson Blu Deira Creek Hotel, Dubai, UAE
Opened in 1975, The Radisson Blu Deira Creek was the first 5* Hotel in Dubai and is much loved as an old friend. It has changed little since its opening and Lulie Fisher Design Studio have been appointed by Radisson to refurbish the public areas including Reception, Lobby Lounge and Cafe, Spa, Roof Top Pool Deck, the Bridal Suites, the Boulvar ADD, the Boulevard Cafe and 5 further F&B venues including The Fish Market Restaurant and Minato Japanese Restaurant. Our design approach is to retain and refurbish the historic and unique backdrop of timber marquetry wall paneling, water jet cut marbles inlaid with brass and timber coffered ceilings and sensitively layer in contemporary joinery, furniture pieces, carpets and artwork to modernise and update the hotel for today’s discerning guest whilst retaining all its heritage and colourful character.
