Vida Hills Hotel & Residences, Dubai, UAE
Emaar approached LFDS to design the main public areas for the Vida Hotel and Residences in Emirates Hills. The areas encompassed the main entrance lobbies to both the Hotel and the Residences, the main lobby lounge with its check-in and concierge facilities, Stage Two coffee bar, the meeting suites and break out areas and the ADD restaurant, Origins.
The brief was to create a residential and comfortable environment which is light, airy, natural and timeless. We have created this look by utilizing white terrazzo, white marble and pale white oaks as the backdrop and offset these with black stained timber and black metal details, warm oaks, hand glazed tiles and pops of soft color laid over a base of neutral fabrics. The spaces are accessorized with rustic timber bowls, white glazed Reiki pottery and art work inspired by Alberto Burri.
